Mortgage with Brad Tip of the Week

Feeling the pressure to “treat yourself” even when money feels tight?

It happens to all of us. Life gets busy or stressful, and those small purchases feel like a quick fix. The problem is that they add up faster than we think, and sometimes they get in the way of bigger goals, such as building savings, lowering monthly payments, or planning your next move.

A few small shifts can make a big difference.

Pause for 24 hours before buying something that isn’t already on your list.

Unsubscribe from the store promo emails that are designed to trigger spending.

Use cash or debit for fun spending so you feel the cost and stay mindful.

Pick a simple weekly spending limit and stick to it.

Automate your savings first, so what’s left is guilt-free to enjoy.

No shame and no judgment. Just realistic habits that make life feel lighter.

If you want help figuring out your mortgage, lowering payments, preparing for renewal, or creating a bit more breathing room in your budget, I’m always here to walk through your options.

Feel free to message me anytime.
