Welcome back to another edition of The Creative Hub of Elgin County.

More mortgage options. Less stress. Proud to support our local community while helping first-time buyers, self-employed Canadians, growing families, and homeowners take control of their finances — one mortgage plan at a time.

Before we dive into everything happening around Elgin County this week, here’s something helpful for homeowners:

Do you know what your home might be worth in today’s market?

I’ve added a free, quick home value tool you can use anytime — no pressure, no sales calls, just information to help you plan.

Whether you’re thinking about refinancing, renovating, helping family, or simply staying informed, knowing your value gives you options.

Helping everyone home,

This newsletter exists for one reason: to keep Elgin County connected.

Each week, it highlights what’s happening locally — from events and small businesses to creative projects and big ideas — and helps them find the people who’ll appreciate them most. Because when we support what’s happening around us, momentum builds fast.

Have an event coming up? Launching something new? Running a local business or passion project you want more eyes on? My inbox is always open.

And if you know someone who loves discovering what’s happening locally, pass this along. The more people involved, the stronger the ripple effect.

Here’s what’s on tap for this week 👇

Community Opportunity: Local Businesses Wanted

If you’re a local business looking to get in front of visitors and residents exploring our region, this is a great opportunity to have on your radar.

The Rotary Club of St. Thomas is currently looking for advertisers for their annual Discovery Tour program — a well-loved local guide designed to attract visitors to St. Thomas and surrounding destinations.

Advertising options range from small, affordable placements all the way up to full-page features, making this accessible for businesses of all sizes. There’s also a Partner Program where businesses can sell Discovery Tour programs to their customers and earn a portion of each sale — a nice win-win that supports local tourism and Rotary’s community work.

If you’re a shop, restaurant, service provider, attraction, or experience that benefits from people discovering our area, this could be a strong fit.
